Doing good is good business, and we’re leading the way in our industry.
JLL has been named to the inaugural JUST 100 list compiled by Forbes magazine and JUST Capital, a nonprofit that studies corporate behavior. The list ranks U.S. public companies based on workplace, ethics and corporate citizenship issues. JLL was recognized as the top performing real estate company on the list.
The process involved a survey of 50,000 Americans, which JUST Capital conducted in partnership with NORC at the University of Chicago. JUST then evaluated the performance of more than 890 companies, ranking them within their industries according to ten metrics:
- Worker pay and benefits
- Worker treatment
- Supply chain impact
- Community well-being
- Domestic job creation
- Product attributes
- Customer treatment
- Leadership and ethics
- Environmental impact
- Investor alignment
Whether giving our time, talent or resources, JLL has a culture of giving back. With excellence, ethics and team work woven into the very core of our business, our people are committed to helping others, making a difference and supporting organizations that enhance the communities in which we work, live and play.
JLL encourages local offices and employees to support the charitable causes important to them and backs it up with corporate matching programs. In 2015 employees volunteered more than 3,600 days and company and worker charitable donations totaled $3 million. Moreover, JLL has a comprehensive code of conduct that sets standards around workplace safety, prevents worker abuse and adheres to human rights principles.
