JLL Houston President Dan Bellow was honored with the CoreNet Lifetime Achievement Award at CoreNet’s Annual Award and Market Overview lunch, Friday, Jan. 29, 2016, at the Junior League of Houston.
More than 150 CoreNet members and friends gathered to honor Bellow at the annual lunch. The industry veteran was recognized for his many contributions to the corporate real estate industry and to the Houston community, including his work with children’s organizations.
“It’s an honor to receive this award,” said Bellow. “I’ve been fortunate to have a long and rewarding career. I’d like to thank CoreNet Global and the many colleagues who have helped me get where I am today and enjoy my time in the industry along the way.”
As president of JLL Houston, Bellow is responsible for all business lines and for operations in Houston and Louisiana. He also serves on the firm’s Leadership Council and the Americas Executive Committee. He enjoys working with his corporate clients on workplace strategies, build-to-suit projects and dispositions of surplus properties.
With more than 43 years of experience, he has successfully negotiated in excess of $10 billion worth of projects for his clients.
Outside of the workplace, Bellow has contributed to the Houston community by serving on the boards of the Greater Houston Partnership, YMCA, Boy Scouts of America, Make-a-Wish Foundation, University of Houston Bauer College Board, and the University of Houston Bauer Real Estate Executive Advisory Board.
